ok i edited the poem cuase 1e wanted me to. see, i'm such a nice person. haha... yeah, i like this one so much better. =) & i did it in half an hour! woots! hope you guys like it. =) & must comment!!!

Betrayal

That flash of lightning
Broke through the night
Ripping my heart out
& leaving it to bleed...

The floor around me
Lay the shattered glass
Where the words lie
Tormenting me ever so silently...

I stood there watching
As that swirling mist of betrayal
Slowly devoured that path
I once walked with you...

But now i understand
You're just that single star
In that myriad of shimmer
Not worth my thoughts, my sorrow...

& only to fade slowly into the depths of my past...
